Guru
is eternal. Guru is infinite.
Guru is perennial existence.
So, Rev. Gurudev’s physical departure from the earthly planet in
ordinary form makes one feel that he has lost something. But actually it is
cosmic gain. Because as long as Guru exists in his physical form he is
available to a few seekers only. But
when He attains Holy Mahasamadhi then He becomes cosmic one and available to one
and all, any number of disciples or spiritual seekers, at all
time, in all places, without prior appointment too!

Sri Gurudev Yogiraj Swami Satchidanandaji Maharaj’s departure was observed with daily special prayer, kirtan and reading of Srimad Bhagavatam by H. H. Sri
Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj at holy Sri Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
On
16th day of Rev. Sri Swamiji Maharaj’s departure a Shodashi pooja
(worship services) was performed on 2nd September with prayer and satsang.
Fruits were distributed by Ashram’s devotees at the School for the
Blind where more than 250 children were given Prasad.
Rev. Swami Adhyatmanandaji led the satsang.

Ashram, Ahmedabad was remembered and cherished by all devotees.
It will be evergreen and everlasting memory. It
will be regarded as one of the most important events in the history of Sivananda
