42 ^nd Yoga Teachers Training Course ( Dec 5, 2018 - Dec 24, 2018)  through Sivananda Institute of Vedanta-Yoga Academy ( SIVA) at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad Participants came from Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangaluru and Hyderabad. Altogether, 220 hours education was imparted during the course. Yogasana, Pranayam, Meditation, Kriya, Mudra, Bandha, Art of relaxation, Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras and basic knowledge of Anatomy, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Science of Dieting, Ayurveda, Sanskrit, Philosophy and Psychology of Yoga and Science of Natural healing Reiki was imparted during the course.  H. H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj governs the program. Dr. Ashok Nirwan, Dr. Varsha Dave, Dr. Amish Kshatriya, Dr. Bhavdeep Ganatra,, Dr. Mihir Upadhyay, Sanskrit scholar(Ph.D.), Mrs. Chidrupini (Dietician ), Ms. Sangeeta Thawani (Yoga Prachar Ratna ), Mrs. Rupa Majmudar (Reiki Grand Master ), Sri Atul Parikh etc. conducted the course. Written, oral and practical examinations were conducted. Yoga Teachers Training Course was concluded on Dec 24, 2018 at noon. Dr. Arpita Bhagat received the Best student award of the course.

Gita Jayanti (Dec 19, 2018): Sri Sanjay Sai Seva Samiti organized a public meeting of worshipful Sri Sanjay Sai Baba at Sivananda Ashram. From 6.00 PM. to 8.15 PM, there was Sri Sunderkand Parayan by Sri Vishnu Shastriji Maharaj. Prior to Mangal Sambhashan of Sri Sanjay Sai Baba, President of Sri Sanjay Sai Seva Samiti Baba gave a detailed report of Seva of Samiti. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj and other devotees of the ashram welcomed him with great honor. In his short speech, Sri Swamiji said, “ It’s always a joy to receive holy man at holy abode of worshipful Guru Maharaj. H.Q. of Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh also had privileged to host Sri Satya Sai Babaji, in worthy presence of H. H. Gurudev Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj and once again in the presence of Revered and worshipful Gurudev Sri Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj, In his sharing, Revered Sri Babaji said, “ Revered Swami Adhyatmanandaji and I, though we are meeting for the first time today in this birth, we both know each other from many more births. He brought spotlight upon Seva Dharma, by giving an example of a squirrel who served Lord Rama during construction of Sri Rama Setu. Service is service. It is nothing big or small. Do not wait for an invitation, just serve and serve" . All devotees including Revered Babaji had their Prasad in the ashram and then His Holiness departed around 11.30 pm

Sri Datta Jayanti (Dec 22, 2018): On the occasion of Sri Dattatreya Jayanti, Datta Yajana, Poojan, Archana, Aarti and Prasad was organized at Sivananda Ashram’s Sri Datta Temple. Traditional Prasad was served to everyone in front of the temple and underneath the grooms of trees.

Srimad Bhagawat katha (Dec 24, 2018 - Dec 30, 2018):  On Dec 24, 2018 holy Sri Bhagawad Katha was commenced at Sri Sri Sri Ashta Lakshmi Bhawan of Sivananda Ashram. Sivananda Parivar at the Ashram were in festive and joyful spirit with a peaceful breeze of Divine as they listened to glories of Srimad Bhagawatam narrated by H.H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj on Vyasasan. It was daily evening satsang from 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm with devotees attending in large numbers each day more and more to peak & packed hall on Lord Krishna’s Janotsav. It was an indeed a spiritual feast for all. On Dec 26, 2018 Worshipful and Rev. Sri Saheb dada of Sri Anoopam Mission graced the ashram and blessed the audience by sharing words of wisdom. On Dec 27, 2018, two books on the secret of Happy, Healthy and Cheerful Life by Dr. Veena M. Patel were released through the holy hands of Sri Swamiji Maharaj after Bhagawat Katha. On Dec 29, 2018, Srimad Bhagawad Katha was organized in the forenoon. Holy Srimad Bhagawat Katha was concluded on Dec 30, 2018. Maha Prasad was served to all the devotees.

Pujya Swamiji has entered in His Golden Jubilee year and Devotees at Sivananda Ashram and other centers have started planning a year of celebration in His honor.

Vadodara (Dec 2, 2018 to Dec 3, 2018): On Dec 2, 2018 Devotees of  Guru Bhagwan at Vadodara organized a "Sneh Milan" to welcome to Pujya Swamiji Maharaj but instead, Sri Swamiji in His speech said, “welcome, Guru Krupa! It is available but, we have to seek it wholeheartedly. Our demand is poor so, supply would be poor. So, seek it, demand it and you shall receive it in abundance! Guru's Grace is sufficient for getting Knowledge of Brahman".

Visit to Leprosy colony at Sindhrot: After Prasad, Revered Swamiji visited Sindhrot on the occasion of 40 th annual day of Leprosy Colony. Revered Swamiji has been in the service and one of the sincere well-wishers of Leprosy colony inmates. They used to be around 850 inmates of this facility, presently around  400 inmates are residing and getting care in this facility as with good treatment they have improved and got cured, fortunately. Sri Swamiji spent time with inmates as well as the administrative team, praised  them, inspired them shared with them the involvement Sivananda Ashram’s leprosy work in Rishikesh and its inspiration to many more such colonies in a different part of India including Haridwar, Dehradun, Lucknow, Hyderabad etc.

On Dec 3, 2018  Pujya Swamiji attended Mahamantra Harinam Sankirtan 75 th years annual day at The Divine Life Society, Branchof Vadodara. Also, Swamiji was busy with interviewed a few YTTC candidates entrance qualification, eligibility etc. Sri Swamiji returned back to the ashram in the evening and joined in satsang and concluding of Sri Maha Rudra Yajna at Sri Vishwanath Temple. The function was attended by highly learned eighteen scholars from Vijayawada (AP).

On Dec 4, 2018 80th  Happy Birthday of Sri Piyushbhai Desai, a Managing Director of Wagh Bakari Tea and sincere devotee of Guru Bhagwan Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj,  Pujya Swamiji with a group of devotees visited his bungalow "Punit" and greeted him and all members of his divine family. They were very happy and thankful to Pujya Swamiji for His blessings. 

On Dec 6, 2018 a daylong conference of Executives members of All India Radio, 18 stations of Gujarat and Maharashtra was addressed by Pujya Sri Swamiji Maharaj. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj has been a senior most at All India Radio, who has been giving talks since 1952 and has been contributing his service to the nation through All India Radio. 
On Dec 14, 2018 : 25th wedding anniversary of Smt. Pratima and Sri Dharmadeep of Bristol, UK was celebrated at the Ashram. Ayushya Homam and Sri Mahalakshmi Homam was performed by couple. The entire family came to the ashram from all the way to Bristol, U.K. This family is devoted to Most Guru Bhagawan Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj since 1965.
In the evening, Revered Swamiji was invited for the lavishly organized 75 th Happy Birthday function of most Respected Smt. Kumudben Shah, a well-known social worker and Lion Lady, she is a well-wisher of Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad.

On Dec 15, 2018 14th annual function of J. G. College of Performing Arts was celebrated with Winter Dance Festival. Very renowned artists came from Poona, Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur and London, and presented Bharat Natyam, Kathak as well as Odessa dances which happened to be very high standard Nrutya. Revered Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj was the Chief Guest and lit the lamp. He addressed the audience about the this school history of fourteen years. The school was started with 14 students, but now school caters to Degree, Diploma and PHD Course to about 300 students. Many of these schools students have become renowned famous actors in Gujarati movies and vocal and instrumental artists around the globe.

SOLA, Ahmedabad ( Dec 17, 2018): For inner motivation and moral development of the existing faculties, Nirma University organizes two-week long workshop for higher education every year. Revered Sri Swamiji Maharaj inaugurated the program and spoke to them for two hours long session on the subject of Values, Ethics and Character. Respected Vice Chancellor welcomed Swamiji and the course co-coordinator praised Swamiji for his love and service to the modern mind of the nation.

Dec 20, 2018 Ahmedabad Management Association invited Reved Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj in "Samagra Gita" book release function. The function was presided by H. H. Sri Swami Tejomayanandaji Maharaj of Chinmaya Mission. Sri G. Narayan Guru, Baroda (Management Guru ) worked very hard for many years to find out that Gita contains 700 verses or more. But, his hard work had clue from London, Gondal (Sri Bhubaneshwari Peeth) and Jamnagar Ayurveda University, Jamnagar. Finally, his hard efforts with the collaboration of these two Institutes, he was able to compile the entire new form of Gita in Sanskrit as well as in English poetical form too.

On Dec 21, 2018 : 5 th Maha Samadhi day of worshipful Atal Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar H. H. Sri Swami Mangalanandaji Maharaj was celebrated by Gita Parayan and blessings by saints and sages. Maha Prasad was organized for sadhus and devotees.
In the evening, Revered Sri Swami Maharaj was invited for concluding ceremony of Srimad Bhagavad Maha Puran at Sri Bharati Ashram, Sarkhej.

On Dec 23, 2018: Most worshipful and Revered Sri Rang Avadhoot Maharaj’s 50 th Maha Samadhi year celebration, which commenced last year from Ahmedabad. After many programs of service to school going children, Bhajan, Kirtan and visit to East Africa and more. Pujya Sri Swami Maharaj was privileged to take part and join in many programs as well as Dharma Yatra to East Africa. The concluding program of Bhajan by devotees from the United Kingdom was organized at Ahmedabad. Revered Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj graced and blessed the concluding Bhajan Sandhya at Sri Din Dayal Auditorium, Ahmedabad. Congratulations to Dr. Indubhai Dave who has lead the programs organizing and coordination.

On Dec 28, 2018 Sankarda (Kaira): Honoring invitation, Rev. Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj graced and blessed Murti Pratishtha and Revered Kakaji, Papaji centenary festival.

On Dec 29, 2018 Srimad Bhagawad Katha was organized in the forenoon. Afternoon, Sri Swamiji made a quick trip to Delhi for attending the family festival of Sri Sanjay Mehta. Sri Sanjayji is very sincere and well-wisher of Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad.

Dec 31, 2018 Gozaria (North Gujarat): Sri Gozaria Education Society celebrated its journey of 80 years. Three days long festival was organized by Sri Vijay Rupaniji, Chief Minister of Gujarat and concluding celebration Parents meetings was addressed and formally concluded by H.H. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj.
