Navaratri Festival ( Oct 13, 2015 - Oct 22, 2015): Navaratri festival at the Ashram is a spiritual treat indeed for the devotees. Entire nine days a special worship of Sri Maa continued at the Ashram. Devotees joined for the holy chanting of Gita Parayan in the forenoon and Sri Durga Saptasati Parayan in the afternoon. Nights were rejoiced in traditional Devi worship (Garba) in praise Maa by devotees.
Oct 21, 2015 astami, eight day of the Navaratri a special worship with Havan, Kanya Poojan were performed to young girls. On the ninth day, a culmination of worship with Guru Paduka Pujan, Goddess of Saraswati worship followed by a Havan at the spot where Sri Swami Chidananda Birth Centenary Yoga Bhavan is going to be constructed. After the yajna, foundation stone was laid by Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj and construction began of Chidananda Centenary Yoga Bhavan.
784th Yoga, Pranayam, Meditation camp was organized from October 26, 2015 to November 4, 2015 at the ashram. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Tejas Patel, a leading Cardiologist. Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji has been taking morning session, which is attended by large number of people. Camp will conclude on Nov 4, 2015.
Regular activities of the ashram; Yoga classes, Beginner’s Yoga Training, Reiki training, daily satsang, weekly satsang, special Vedant class, Chandipath, Sunderkand, Mrutyunjay Mantra Japa, Poor Feeding, Grocery distribution, Yoga therapy, Homeopathic treatment etc were carried out as usual during the month of October.

October 1, 2015 Annual Gandhi Mitra award presentation function was organized by Vichar Trust institution. H. E. Governor of Gujarat Sri OM Prakash Kohli ji presided over the function. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji was invited as a guest of honor. Awards were presented to three couples those who are actively involved in the service at leprosy home, at institute serving under privileged & blind men and women and at the , Education Rehabilitation institute serving the tribal area. Function was organized at famous Vishala Restaurant, a courtesy of owner Sri Surendrabhai Patel, a owner of the restaurant.
On Oct 2, 2013 All religion prayer meeting was conducted at Gindhi Ashram, Sabarmati on Mahatma Gindhiji's ( Bapuji) birth anniversary day. Sri Swamiji Maharaj lead the prayer meeting. H. E. Governor of Gujarat, Sri Om Prakash Kohli Ji was the guest of honour.
On October 3, 2015 a week long Varsity festival of Gujarat University was concluded with grand finale at Tagore Hall. Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji was the guest of honor; Respected Vice Chancellor Dr. N. M. Patel presided over function. Pujya Swamiji's inspiring message to university students, research scholars, scientist was well received. He stressed the importance of hard work, spotless character, good health to shine and be successful in your chosen field. In His words. " You are the future of the nation, we need scientists, research scholars and Aerospace engineers. May you be a global citizen but remember Mother India and its teachings of truth, non-violence and universal love !"
23 rd AMA week (October 5, 2015 - October 11, 2015) Amdavad Managment Association organized a week long program. This year the discourses were organized on the Them of Yoga for Health & wellness. Swamini Vimlanandaji Mataji of Chinmaya Mission, Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji, Sri Sadhu Brahmaviharidas (BAPS), Sri Swami Anubhavanandaji (Keep Happy Mission), Sister Shivani (Brahmakumari), Sri G.Narayan of Excel Industries and Dr. Adhiya (IAS) shared their thoughts on the subject. All days audience was full to the maximum capacity of the Hall. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj’s discourse was followed by spectacular demonstration of yoga postures by yoga teachers of Sivananda Ashram, which received standing ovation.
A book by Dr. Ananadiben Patel, Chief Minister of Govt. of Gujarat was released by Rev. Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj at Gandhinagar in midst of mammoth crowd. On the occasion, Sri Swamiji praised Respected Mrs. Anandiben for her multifaceted and dynamic personality. She is a mother, educationalist and finally a fine administrator for the last two decades. Her contribution to the society is note worthy and will be cherished.
October 12, 2015 on 16th day a special worship was performed in loving memory of Brahmleen Sri Swami Dayanananda Saraswatiji at Arsha Vidya Mandir of Ahmedabadand. Sadhus's were feed, also large scale feeding poor & under privileged was done. Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji was one of the special invitees, who grace the ceremony. Late Sri Swami Dayanandaji Maharaj initiated two hundred twenty three Acharyas, who studied "Prasthan Trayee Granths" and can teach others. It is simply unique.
October 13, 2015 Holy Navratri festival at YMCA of Ahmedabad was inaugurated by Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. It was attended by dignitaries and elite citizens of Amdavad.
October 19, 2015 : 75th anniversary platinum Jubilee of famous ‘Mai Mandir" at Nadiad was celebrated with discourses on Sri Devi Bhagwad. Honoring invitation of temple organizers, Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj graced the occasion. Voluntary Blood drive, free medical camp were organized.
Sri Swamiji also visited Sri Santram Mandir at Nadiad. Sri Swamiji and Sri Ramdas Maharaj of Santram Mandir shared good memories of their early monastic life.
October 20, 2015 Sri Kanya Pooja, Ashtami Durga Poojan, Havana was organized by Art of Living institute on the occasion of Navaratri. Sri Swami graced the ceremony.
October 25, 2015 Annual meeting of Gujarat Oil Merchant Association was address by Revered Sri Swamiji Maharaj at Gandhinagar. Sri Swamiji talked about being generous, loyal and truthful while doing the business, then only you can breathe peacefully and achieve eternal unfading bliss of the SELF.
October 30, 2015: "Hindu 16 Rituals" book by Mrs. Anjali Pandya was released by Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj at Gujarat Chamber of Commerce at Vadodara.
October 31, 2015 Birth Anniversary of Sri Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel was celebrated at Sri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial Institution at Shahi Baugh, Ahmedabad. He was known as "Iron Man of India". Revered Sri SwamiJi Maharaj graced the occasion. In his speech, Sri Swamiji talked about HIS strong character that united people. He said, "Keep that ideal in front, let us unite among ourselves, let us join our hands together, our language, dress, address, food or culture may be different but we all are one. May these lofty understanding prevail in each one of our hearts and the name of the our Nation be known as Great Bharatvarsh."
