Key to Bliss - "Meditation on OM" from Mandukya /Upnisha//d/ by Swami
Sivananda

"This is the Lord of all, this is the knower of all, this is the
Internal Ruler, this is the cause of all, this is verily the Origin and
End of all beings."

Sarvesvara: Lord of all, i.e., the Governor of the whole physical and
super-physical universe. As all the mental and physical worlds proceed
from lsvara, as He is omnipotent, as He controls everything, He is
called the Lord of all. lsvara is not something separate from the world.
Prajna is regarded as equal to Isvara. Just as the whole world has come
out of Isvara, so also the waking and dream states have come out of deep
sleep. That is the reason why in the previous Mantra it is said that the
deep sleep state is the doorway or gateway to the waking and dream
states. The waking and dream states dissolve also in the deep sleep state.

This Prajna is the knower of all as He is in all beings and all
conditions. Hence He is called All-knowing. He is Antaryami, i.e., inner
ruler, the governor of all beings, from within. He is the controller
from within. He has entered into all beings and directs everything from
within. He is the source or womb of all. From Him proceeds the varied
universe. Therefore He is also the origin, and the place of dissolution
for all beings. All beings finally disappear in Him. He is the final
resort for all beings. <<Read Complete>>

"Guru Mahima" on the occasion of sacred Guru Purnima (July 5, 2020)

"The Sadguru is Brahman Himself. He is an ocean of bliss, knowledge, and
mercy. He is the captain of your soul. He is he fountain of joy. He
removes all your troubles, sorrows, and obstacles. He shows you the
right divine path. Guru is the Moksha-dvara (door to liberation).
Worship the Guru with the flowers of faith and devotion. Satsanga with
the Guru is the first pillar in the temple of Self-realisation. Grace of
God takes the form of Guru. To see the Guru is to see God. He is the
gateway to the transcendental Truth-Consciousness. But, it is the
aspirant who has to enter through it. The, Guru is a help, but the
actual task of practical Sadhana (spiritual practice) falls on the
aspirant himself. Blind is the man who has not seen the divine Master.
There is but one religion, the religion of devotion and love to Guru.
Everyone who longs to transcend misery and obtain joy and happiness in
life should sincerely practise Guru-Bhakti Yoga. True lasting happiness
can be had by taking recourse to Guru Seva Yoga. Guru-Bhakti Yoga
confers immortality, eternal bliss, freedom, perfection, perennial joy
and everlasting peace." - Swami Sivananda << Read complete>>

Early Morning Meditation talks from "Ponder These Truths" by Swami
Chidananda

"The GURU is HIS teaching "
" By the light of the sun, the whole world awakens.  By the light of the
sun, darkness is banished, slumber gives place to wakefulness and sloth
gives place to activity.  By the light of the sun, all beings in this
world see things, perceive things clearly....Thus the sun is the
awakener; the sun is the enlightener; the sun is the marga darsaka (one
who shows the path).  It is the sun that guarantees smooth, unhampered
progress towards each one’s destination. When the sun is not there, one
is, as it were, blind, even though having eyes.

In the life of a sincere seeking soul, in the life of jijnasu, a
mumukshu, a sadhaka, a spiritual aspirant, the Guru is as it were, the
Sun. Just as the Guru is channel for the individual soul to re-link
itself with the universal Soul, even so, a channel between our Guru and
ourselves is called Guru- bhakti. True Guru-bhakti is divine power,  it
is divine force. The more adverse the circumstances, the greater the
manifestation of grace; the greater the manifestation of Guru kripa.
God's grace and Guru Kripa are the obverse and reverse of the same coin.
"  "Guru Kripa is God's grace manifesting in and through the Guru."

"It is the Guru that points out the path and makes us see the path
clearly. He points out the pitfalls and dangers upon the path, makes us
alert, vigilant jagrit. And, even as the sun initiates activity, so the
Guru inspires us to arise awake, seek knowledge, attain illumination and
become forever blessed. All this and more the Guru does." - Swami
Chidananda << Read Complete>>

Learning of  "Jeevan Yog" from a Yoga Acharya Sri Swami Adhyatmananda
Through TV episodes of "Jeevan Yoga" Serie
<http://divyajivan.org/Jeevan%20Yoga/Index.htm>s by Doordarshan Girnar

Prana - "The true meaning of Prana is not only breath. The Prana is
energy. It is universal power, brightness, light and intelligence. All
these cosmic energies are named as Prana./"Yatkinchit Jagat Sarvam
Drishyate Shruyatepiva../This Prana is filled in all that we see and
hear, the inside and outside of all things, all movement etc. in this
world.

The Prana is the source of all capabilities and the power in the
universe. Prana is the only power behind the normal functioning of the
system of respiration (inhalation and exhalation), blood circulation,
digestion, excretion of urine and stool, system producing semen,
structure of our bones and also the nervous system. The working abilities
of sensory organs and motor organs improve as each cell  gets extra
nutrition. The secret of beauty of skin, shining of the face, brightness
of the eyes, intelligence power and development of mental power is the
result of the practice of Pranayama. The practice of Pranayama means
oneness with cosmic energy. Pranayama Sadhana opens the doors of subtle
life from the gross life "-  Swami Adhyatmananda

*Wisdom Sparks *

"Guru, God and Self are one." "The grace of the Guru is like an ocean.
If one comes with a cup he will only get a cupful. It is no use
complaining of the niggardliness of the ocean. The bigger the vessel the
more one will be able to carry. It is entirely up to him." -  Bhagvan
Ramana Maharshi

"Rain-water falling upon the roof of a house flows down to the ground
through spouts shaped grotesquely like the tiger's head. One gets the
impression that the water flows from the tiger's mouth, but in reality
it descends from the sky. In the same way the holy teachings that comes
from the mouth of Godly men seem to be uttered by those men themselves,
while in reality they proceed from God." -  Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa

A Guru lives in God. He has realized God. He knows God. He has become
God. He speaks of God. He shows the way to God. He is God intoxicated.
He is God Himself. He is one with God.The Guru constitutes a ladder for
the pilgrims to the shrine of God. Wherever the Guru stays even for a
half a second, that place becomes sacred place like Varanasi, Prayag or
Brindavan. The Guru is God’s messenger on earth. The God reveals Himself
in a Guru in His full glory, infinite power, wisdom and bliss. - Sri
Swami Adhyatmananda
