The news
of sad demise of Most Worshipful and Rev. Srimat Swami Premanandaji Maharaj has
brought a shock to all the lovers of His and devotees of Sri Gurubhagavan
Srimat Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj.
He lived
up to His name Premananda. From head to foot he was oozing love &
love only to known and to unknown, birds, monkeys, dogs, cows, hawkers and
laborers, police officers and commissners. One and all had soothing
feelings of His Divine Company.
Sri Swami
Premanandaji Maharaj was just apt and capable secretary of the Head Quarter of
Rishikesh. He was meticulous, very systematic and prompt in account making
and precise in all dealings. He had to face ups and downs in His
capacity of the secretary ship from his dear and near ones, but his tendency to
serve Sri Gurudev and His divine mission made him stick to the order of
divine life up to the last breath of his life. He was dedicated, devoted
and committed to very service of Sri Guru Bhagavan Srimat Swami Sivanandaji
Maharaj. He knew how to live and how to die too. In very Uttrayan
Kal, in Shukla paksha on Holy Thursday during broad day light after his morning
bath and Gurupuja he breathed his last at Sri Gurudev's Holy Abode, on holy
bank of Mother Ganga, holy
He was a
liaison officer practically with all official and govt. dealings of DLSHQ.
His was unparallel post and His loss is irreparable. His single handed
dealings of his presidentship during the Divine Decade program will be always
remembered and cherished by all the members of the DLS around the Globe.
His loyal
devotion towards “Sri Rama Charit Manas”‘
has granted him Sadhyo Mukti.
May His
all divine qualities be lived by all his lovers and followers of Divine Life.
