Holy Shivaratri Utsav ( Feb 27, 2014):
More than thirty thousand devotees visited Sri Vishvanath temple at Sivananda ashram from early dawn on Feb 27 till the next morning 4 am. Vedik Hymns and chants of "Om Namah Shivaya" filled the air with Divine vibrations as they celebrated Sacred Maha Shivratri on Feb 27, 2014. Holy Shri Vishwanath Temple was agog with worship of Lord Shiva. It started with Shodshopachar Pujan at 3.45 am on Feb 27th and continued until the next day 4.00 am. on Feb 28th. Continuous flow of devotees came to the Lord Vishvanath Temple to pray and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva – who is considered Ashutosh. The Siva Lingam was worshipped by washing it with milk, curd, honey and rose water as the chants of Vedic Hymns, Namakam, Chamakam, Rudram, AshtadhyaayiRudra, Purushasuktam in praise of Lord Shiva. Shiva Lingam was adorned with special Shringar, Bilva leaves. Bilva leaves are believed to be very sacred and considered the best offering to Lord Shiva. Pujya Swamiji Maharaj performed Maha Aarati. Also there is a strong belief that sincere worship of Lord Shiva on the auspicious day of Shivaratri, absolves person of sins and liberates him from the cycle of birth and death. Bhakti Sangeet (Devotional Songs) in praise of the Lord through out the night by outstanding singers namely Dr.Vasavda gruop, Smt. Dr. Monica Shah of Aradhana School, Pandit Sri Nirajchandra Parikh, Artists from Bharuch brought a special fervor to already charged atmosphere. Next day, a grand mahaprasad was served to the thousands of devotees at the ashram.
YTTC ( Feb 21, 2014 - March 13, 2014)
Sivananda school of Yoga students from Taipei-Taiwan visited Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad for advance Yoga Teachers Training Course (AYTTC) under the leadership of Yogi James Lo, National Director Sports and Yoga federation Taiwan. Other than Yoga learning, daily discourses on Bhagawad-Gita as well as Patanjali Yoga Sutras by Revered Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj have been scheduled for all three weeks. All the students are enjoying this Nectar flow of Gita Amrutam & Patanjali Yoga Sutra. It is to be concluded on March 13, 2014.
A week long discourse series “Knowledge to wisdom” concluded by Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj on Feb 26, 2014. The concluding discourse Swamiji beautifully brought the thoughts on how to live “Bhagavat” in daily life.
As part of youth activities of Sivananda Ashram, e extempore competition for the university graduation students was organized at Sivananda Ashram on Feb 16, 2014. Thirty five students were selected from various educational Institutions of the town to participate in grand finale of this competition. Rs. 1000/- Rs. 700/- & Rs. 500/- were awarded to the first, second and third winner as cash prize along with mementos. Literature and certificates were distributed to all the participants and to the judges from Gujarat University. Trustee and secretary of Sivananda Ashram Sri Rajiv Shah lit the lamp and awarded the certificates. Mrs Kadambi Pandya and Mr. Chirag Pandya conducted the program.

Bhimpura ( Feb 1, 2014 - Feb 7, 2014 ) Annual Self Discipline week (Sadhana Saptaha) was celebrated at Sri Sri Maa Anandamayi Ashram, Bhimpura at the bank of holy river Narmada (Gujarat). Revered Sri Swamiji attended all the three meditation sessions and shared His experiences with Sri Sri Maa and how Maa reveals Herself to her dear devotees here and now. Which brought a divine feelings to all those who all were together from all over India & abroad. Spiritual retreat was concluded with Saraswati pooja, worship of Goddess of education on Feb 7, 2014.
Junagarh (Feb 9, 2014) Sri Hatkesh hospital at Junagarh had a golden letter day on Sunday Feb 9, 2014, as it received Eye surgical Phaco machine worth of Rs. 62,00000/( that is used in catract surgery) which was inaugurated at the worthy hands of Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Over the past years hospital has expanded in orthopedic, dental and gynecology departments and serving the people. District Collector Mr. Alok Pandey graced the function.
During His short visit to Junagarh Sri Swamiji Maharaj visited and paid his homage to H. H. Mahamandaleshwar Sri Vishwambhar Bharatiji of Juna-Akhada and Revered Bapusri of Sri Punit Ashram at the base of Holy Girnar Mountain.
Changoder (Feb 2, 2014) Pujya Sri Swamiji was invited to lay the foundation stone for the residential accommodation and education institute for mentally retarded children, which is being run by society for the welfare of the mentally retarded. Seven years ago Revered Swamiji had a privilege to attend the institute, where fifty mentally challenged children were under training. The president of the institute Mr. Rajendra Shah is dedicated and devoted divine soul.
Rudramal, North Gujarat (Feb 13, 2014) About 1200 years old Lord Shiva temple is being rejuvenated at Rudramal. Five days long festival was concluded with Revered Swamiji’s sermon. Sri Swamiji Maharaj dedicated His thanks to one and all who donated land, money (about sixty Lakhs), time and thoughts for this wonderful project. "It is essential to protect our ‘Dharma’, If we protect Dharma, Dharma will protect us”, He said. He added, that here, Dharma is not the ritual and dogmas; Dharma is our moral duties towards our parents, family, society and to our nation. Let us be loyal to all of them. If, we protect them they will protect us. To protect Dharma we should strive and struggle for transparency of the life. Let us be pure with in and out, you all will be loved by the Lord.” About ten thousand devotees attended this grand festival.
Ahmedabad( Feb 23, 2014): A grand get-together of the devotees of Bhakta Vallabha Dhola of Bhahuchar Maa (Goddess of Peace and Awakening) had five hours long meeting, Yajna and recitation of ‘Ananda no Garbo’ and ancient chant in praise of Bliss Absolute was concluded with the blessings of Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj.
Mandal (Feb 26, 2014) Foundation stone for the extension of Late Sri Swami Ramananda Saraswatiji Maharaj Eye hospital was laid by Revered Swamiji at Abhijat Muhurat at Mandal.
