Deepavali Festival (Nov 11, 2012 - Nov 13, 2012): A festival of Light, Joy & Illumination, a time to rejoice in the Lord, Thanks Giving time for all the devotees at the Ashram. Sri Sri Sri Ashta Laxmi Bhavan was decorated with lighting, rangoli, pushpamalla during Diwali celebrations. On Dhanteras day (Nov 11, 2012), a large number of devotees joined for group Yantra Pooja at Sri Sri Sri Maa Ashta Laxmi Bhavan in Holy presence of Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. A few weeks of planning and preparations of hundreds of food varieties by so many devotees culminated in Grand Annakoot offering to Sri Ashtalaxmi Maa on Deepavali day (Nov 13, 2012). Entire day, over thousands of people came to the ashram for the Holy Darshan and to receive the grace of Sri Sri Sri Ashtalakshmi Maa. Late in the evening Aarti was performed by Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. The Karmayoga in the real sense began after Diwali Annakoot, as all type of sweets, snacks, chocolates, cakes, fruits, offered to Maa got packed up nicely in small packages by devotees during the night at the ashram and were distributed on next day, a New Year day to Daridranarayanas in slum area of the city. While devotees received a Diwali gift & Blessings of Pujya Sri Swamiji, families in underprivileged area of the town received "Diwali Annakoot prasad" of Maa Sri Ashtalaxmi from Sivananda Ashram. It is a joy indeed to celebrate Deepavali in true Sivanandic spirit.
Holy Srimad Bhagawat Katha ( Nov 22, 2012 – Nov 28, 2012 ) was organized at the Ashram narrated by Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Devotees in large number attended the Katha and enjoyed listening to glories of the Lord Sri Krishna Lila. Sri Krishna Janma was celebrated elaborately by devotees in great enthusiasm.
Yoga Camp for the Beginners: From Nov 1st through the 10th Yoga classes for beginners were conducted by Dr. Snehal Amin in the hours of dawn and from Nov 20th through 30th Ms. Sonal took classes in the evening.
Guru Nanak Jayanti - Holy and happy birthday of “Guru-Nanak” was celebrated at Gurudwara Govind-Dham, Revered Sri Swamiji was invited as a guest of honour. Sri Swamiji in His address shared His thoughts about importance of GURU. In His words, “the place of Guru in Human life holds a highest place. Surrender unto Him; follow his instruction and you will reap the harvest of bliss absolute”. Sri Swamiji quoted Holy Sri Guru Granth Saheb; devotees present felt blessed with Swamiji's presence.
Satsang Program & Tours of Pujya Swamiji Adhyatmannadaji Maharaj during the Month of November 2012
Haridwar : Sri Amar Mitra Mandal, organized Holy Sri Bhagawat Katha by Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj at Haridwar. About three hundred devotees from Gujarat traveled all the way to Haridwar. Katha was organized at Sri Hari-Giri Ashram situated at the bank of holy Ganga at Kankhal (Sri Daksha Kshetra). It was a rare opportunity for blessed devotees to listen to Srimad Bhagavat Katha on a sacred bank of Ganga and that too from Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj on Vyasa Pith. Credit goes to Amar Mitra Mandal and its organizers to plan such holy event.
Yamunanagar (Haryana): Revered Sri Swamiji visited Yamunanagar upon humble and sincere request of Sri Surender Vasudevji’s family. Sri Swamiji Maharaj graced and addressed school children at Dav school.
Karnal (Haryana) (Nov 2 & 3, 2012) : Revered Swamiji Maharaj was at Nirmal Ashram, Karnal. Also, Sri Swamiji Maharaj addressed inmates of Industrial township. Swamiji said, “You are very much part of industry. No machine can function without a single nut-bolt or screw is missing; likewise each one of you are very essential accessories of your unit. Be loyal. Be faithful. honour your machine as your deity. Your industry is your temple. Your skill-workmanship is your worship. You will prosper”. At night Sri Swamiji attended function at Rotary club of Karnal.
Ambala (Haryana) (Nov 3, 2012): On mid-day Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj visited Ambala. He visited and addressed students and teaching staff of Guru Gorakhnath engineering college. Swamiji did Tree plantation with student community in the premises of the institute.
In His presence and with his inspiration a grand blood donation camp was organized. About 11,523 unit of blood was collected. 10 blood banks were invited from Chandigarh, Panchkula, Kurukshetra as well from Yamunanagar. Smt. Usharani Hudda, respected wife of Chief Minister of Haryana inaugurated the camp.
Amritsar (Punjab) (Nov 4, 2012 -Nov 6, 2012): Holy Sri Nirmal Vedant Ashram has standing invitation to Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Sri Swamiji Maharaj attended Vedant Sammelan organized by Nirmal Ashram. During his 3 days stay, Sri Swamiji Maharaj paid homage at famous Jalianwala Bagh, holy Sri Durgian Temple and holy Golden Temple.
Chandigarh (Union Territory): Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj visited Panchkula (Haryana) and Chandigarh for a quick day long trip. Sri Swamiji’s Satsang was organized at Dr. Nirmal and Sri Dharmavir Bhatia Ji's home. Sri Swamiji visited and blessed number of devotees at their home.
Ludhiana (Punjab): Upon invitation of most worshipful and revered Jain Acharya Sri Shivmuniji Maharaj, Sri Swamiji Maharaj addressed Jain devotees for two days. Sri Swamiji inspired all of them by sharing his views about very value of ‘Pratikraman’ and regular practice of ‘Kayotsarga’. The satsag was organized by Jain Samaj with the personal interest of Revered Acharya Sri Shivmuniji Maharaj.
Delhi (Nov 11, 2012): A home Satsang was organized by Smt. Amita and Sri Anjaninandan Sharanji, director of Vigilance BSNL at their government accommodation. It was Dhanteras day, they were happy to have Swamiji with them on Diwali time.
