Daily worship services at Lord Vishvanath Temple and at Sri Sri Maa Ashtalakshmi Bhavan create Divine vibrations at the Ashram. Prayers & Meditation at Sri Chidananda Dhyan Mandir bring peace & joy to countless Sadhakas. Daily Evening Satsang (9.00pm –9.45pm), Sunday satsang (8.30 am -10.00 am) and ‘Paduka Pujan' on Thursday, Satyanarayan Puja on Purnima day, Gayatri Yajana on first Sunday, Lalita Shashra Nama & Yoga activities: all these have made Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad a pilgrimage place (Yatra Dham). And, it is no exacerations to state that the Spiritual Presence of Gurudev Sri Swami Sivananda & Gurumaharaj Sri Swami Chidananda draw people miraculously from all over to visit Sivananda Ashram.
125th Birth Anniversary of Holy Master Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj ( Sept 8, 2012):
At the ashram a week of devotional activities were planned from Sept 1, 2012 - Sept 8, 2012) in honor of Gurudev's birth Anniversary. Sri RamKatha by Pandit Sri Maithilisharanji Maharaj ( in Hindi) in the morning from10.00 am -12.00 pm and Sivananda katha from 5.00pm -7.00pm ( in gujarati ) by Smt. Rupa Majmudar in the evening, attended by large number of devotees. Ashram's atmosphere was charged with divine vibrations and culmination was grand on Sept 8th with holy Paduka Pujan and Bhandara to all.

2012 issue of Divya
Jivan, a monthly spiritual journal published by ( "Sivananda Jnana
Yajana Nidhi") has given a special coverage in honor of Gurudev at this
occasion. It is full of wisdom teachings of Gurudev. It contains in its pages,
the experiences of direct disciples who, have lived and moved in the company of
Gurudev. It is so inspiring.
Gurumaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji's 97th Birth Anniversay celebration ( Sept 24, 2012)
Large number of devotees participated in Paduka Pujan and Satsang organized in the evening at the ashram. Also, devotees joyously received Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj, who arrived from his Divya Tour 2012 to the West in the morning. HIS holy presence brought a special spark in the evening satsang. Sri Atul Parikh, Smt Nayanaben Dave, Dr. Chirag Pandya, Pujya Sri Swami Bhajananandaji Maharaj from Sivananda Ashram Pallakad, Kerala and Smt. Rupa Majmudar shared their experiences and sweet memories of Most Worshipful & Revered Sri Gurumaharaj Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj.

at Ahmedabad was inaugurated by Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. Sri Swamiji
talked about the harmony of body, mind and spirit for the peace & joy.

Dethili ( Sept 27, 2012 ): Dethili is a small village in District of Kheda.
Its residential facility accommodates about about 350 students. It is run
through Gujarat Vidyapeeth. Recently twelve new rooms were
constructed for that will accommodate ninety-six more students. Inauguration
ceremony was held to this extension. The occasion was graced by Pujya Sri Swami
Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj, Pujya Sri Swami Asanganandaji Maharaj of Gnana Vihar
Ashram, Heranj. Pujya Sri Swami Nischalanandaji Maharaj from Khadada, Dawada
(North Gujarat) and Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Vidya Peeth.
Baroda (Sept 30, 2012) honoring the invitation of Mr. Ushakant Mankar of
Baroda, Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj went to Baroda to grace the
centenary celebration of Sri Pradyumna Mankar. The Divine Life Society of Baroda
branch was working from the bungalow of this Mankar family near Kirti Stambha,
Rajmahal Road, Vadodara. Sri Swamiji blessed this virtuous man who has lived
divine life in true sense.
