It was a spiritual feast for the devotees at the ashram to be in hloy company of many Saints during Utsav Triveni from April 22, 2012 to May 3, 2012. May 1 & 2, 2012 Chidananda Memorial Lecture were organized in loving memories of Most worshipful and Revered Gurudev Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj at Sri Sindhu Bhavan. The Hall was packed with devotees to its maximum capacity. Maha Mandaleshwar Sri Swami Vishweshwaranandagiriji Maharaj (Sanyas Ashram, Vile Parle Mumbai) Sri Swami Nikhileshwaranandaji Maharaj (President, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Baroda) H.H.Sri Swami Madhavapriyadasji Maharaj (President Sri Swaminarayan Gurukul, Charodi) and Revered Dr. Naresh Ved (Director UGC Academic staff College) shared their thoughts and enlightened the audience.
On May 3, 2012 a birthday of worshipful and revered Pujya Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj, a spiritual head of Sivananda Ashram Ahmedabad. The day was celebrated in solemn atmosphere, chanting of holy hyms, Homam and feeding to the Daridranarayan. Whole day activities culminated with mediation and Aarti at midnight.
27th YTTC ( May 10, 2012 – May 30, 2012 ) Teacher Training course was conducted at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad and students from all over India and overseas attended the course. Other than Yoga, Meditation, Pranayam, Reiki, anatomy, physiology, management, educational psychology, Gita, Patajnal Yoga darshan were taught by qualified scholars and doctors in their respective field. Practical and theoretical test were held and certificates were awarded to all students who passed the exam successfully. Twenty six candidates earned the diploma certificate.
747th Yoga, Meditation,
Pranayam camp ( May 21, 2012 – May 30, 2012)
Five
hundred and fifty five yoga lovers joined the camp with great enthusiasm. During
the camp Shankha - Prakshalan (cleansing of elementary canal) and blood donation
camp also was organized. A well known Diabetologist, Dr.Mayur Patel gave
presentation, slide show for prevention and treatment of Diabetes. Free blood
sugar check was offered to people during the Yoga camp.
18th Brahmotsav of Lord Vishwanath Mahadev ( May 20, 2012 ) was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Eighteen couple joined in a day long Homatmak Laghu rudra worship it concluded with final oblation by Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj. A grand Bhasma Aarti was performed to the holy shrine in the evening and followed a grand Bhandara (feast) to all.
During the month of May regular activities of the ashram continued as usual throughout the month, like Yoga, Reiki, worship services, Japa, Satsang and Narayan seva etc.

On May 7, 2012 Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji was invited to inaugurate educational seminar for newly recruited educational staff of Nirma University. His inaugural speech was well received by all present and brought spot light on educational psychology.
On May 9, 2012 Revered Sri Swamiji Maharaj addressed to Government officerse who are up for retirement sharing the thoughts on joy of Retirement at Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel Institute of Public administration (SPIPA).
On May 8, 2012 was world Thalassemia day. Revered Swamiji presided over a function organized at Ahmedabad Management Auditorium by Indian Red Cross. Revered Swamiji released the book "Asha Kiran" (Ray of Hope) by Revered Mahesh Trivedi, secretary of Indian Red Cross, Ahmedabad and centurion Blood donor.
At this function, Revered Sri Sudarshan Ayyangar, Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Vidya Peeth, Ahmedabad and Sri Asit Vora, Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Ahmedabad and Respected Sri Mukesh Patel, President Indian Red Cross, Ahmedabad were present. Revered Swamiji most humbly donated Rupees one lakh for Thalassemia affected children on behalf of Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad.
