Spiritual Retreat At Malsar-December 8-10,2002 

A Three days Spiritual retreat was organised at the bank of Narmada at Malsar in Baroda district under spiritual guidance and in the holy presence of Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj.  Seventy seekers from Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Yamunanagar (Haryana), Delhi and London.took part in the retreat.

 Morning Meditation, Prayers and Rev. Swamiji’s morning address were the main attractions  of the retreat.  During three days camp chanting of  all 18 chapters of Bhagvad Gita and recitation of Sri Durga Saptasati were performed in chorus.  Sri Jayantbhai Dave, Sri Vinayakbhai Desai and Mauni Sadhu Sri Lalaji Maharaj shared their experience of Sadhana and gave valuable suggestions for better life.  Number of Sadhaks expressed their sincere gratitude to Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji for his guidance and grace, which they have received in last twenty years to live and lead the life divine. 

589^th Yoga Camp at Valsad- December 14-21,2002 

From 14^th evening to 21^st Rev. Swamiji Maharaj conducted his 589^th Yoga Camp and gave series of Gita discourses at famous cricket ground of Mamta Health & sports club at Valsad. Holy Gita Jayanti was celebrated with chanting of all 18^th Chapters of Srimad Bhagvad Gita in the holy presence and guidance of Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj and large number of devotees availed this blessed opportunity. 

Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj was invited by excel group of Industries to address their employees.  During his stay. Rev. Swamiji visited near by tribal schools and inspired for service to the poor, needy and downtrodden. 

590^th Yoga Camp at Sivananda Ashram, A'bad  – December 24- 31,2002

Swamiji Maharaj concluded his week long, 590^th Yoga Camp held at Sivananda Ashram A'bad, in which flexibilities, Yogasan, Pranayam, Meditation, Bandhas & Mudra and Relaxation were  taught.

Birthday Celebration of Bhagawan Sri Raman Maharshi-( December29,2002) .

At Sivananda Ashram in the afternoon of 29^th a grand satsang was organised to celebrate Bhagawan Sri Raman Maharshiji’s Birthday from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.  Ashram was agoged with saints, satsang, kirtan and Nam- Smaran.  A  (grand feast) Bhandara was offered to all the devotees, those who attended the satsang.  There were more than 1200 devotees to join for the Prasad. More than  400 devotees joined for Silent Meditation, which was, organised at Sri Chidananda Dhyan Mandir on 30^th forenoon for 5 Hrs.

Visit of H. E. Governor Of Gujarat Rev Sri Sunder Sing Bhandariji,  (December 31, 2002) 

Evening of 31^st Dec. was the red-letter day in the year 2002.  H. E. Governor of Gujarat Mr. Sunder Sing Bhandariji graced the function organised at Sivananda Ashram.  .  Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj’s book Yoga & Health in Hindi language was made available only for Hindi knowing citizens of Gujarat. At the same time H. E. governor of Gujarat welcome Prof. J. N. Moudgill Saheb in Gujarat, as he decided to stay and settle for last days of his life.  Prof. Moudgill Sir is completing his 90 years of his life sojourn. His 91^st Birthday was celebrated in H. E. Governor’s presence.

Visit To Khaira District 

On holy Dattatreya Jayanti  Rev. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj visited  rural schools in Khaira district.  Rev. Swamiji addressed number of schools and inspired school children for better human life. 

Inauguration of Conference On Self- Management by Baroda Management Association at Baroda, December 14 2002, 

On 14^th forenoon Rev. Swamiji Maharaj inaugurated conference on Self Management by Baroda Management Association at Baroda.  Rev. Swami addressed an elite audience from various businesses Organisations. 

Address to Student Association of Sri Swami Narayana Gurukul, Gandhinagar-December 22,2002   

On 22^nd forenoon Rev. Swamiji Maharaj was invited to inaugurate and to give keynote address for the first annual old students association of Sri Swami Narayan Gurukul, Gandhinagar. 

Oath Taking Ceremony of Sri Narendra Modi (New chief Minister Of Gujarat Government) 

Rev. Sri Swamiji Maharaj was very cordially and specially invited on the oath-taking ceremony of very popular new chief minister Sri Narendrabhai Modi of Gujarat Government. 

Rev. Sri Swamiji Maharaj inaugurated and graced Diamond jubilee function of Visalad Vanik Gnyati function on 27^th Dec. where he gave a soul stirring speech on the subject of “Sri Krishna- panacea for human problem.” 

28^th evening Ex. Chief Minister Mr. Babubhai Jashbhai Patel had passed away. Rev. Swamiji Maharaj attended his last rites and addressed condolence meeting.  He was a man of truth, loyalty, purity and character.  He was in politics but he was never a politician. 

On 29^th Dec.  Lions club of Ahmedabad organised its zonal conference.  Rev. Swamiji gave keynote address on the subject upon “Better Living”

31^st forenoon Sri Swamiji graced Golden jubilee function of Dharmanagar Institute of Education.  A memorable function was organised in the memory of founder of the Institute.
