OM Namo Bhagawate Sivanandaya!
OM Namo Bhagawate Chidanandaya! OM Namo Narayanaya! ============================================================================== " Satsanga is the greatest of all purifiers and illuminators of man. It is extremely difficult to come in contact with saint and to be benefited by his company. It is through divine grace only one will get his darshan and satsanga. A realized sage or saint is a fountain of delight, joy and illumination. Seek his company and evolve. Serve him with faith and devotion. Follow the teachings of saints and sages, the perfected Beings, the seers of truth." "Satsanga means the company of the Satpurushas. Satpurushas are those who have realised truth as well as those who are aspirants after truth. Those people who have renounced egoism, greed, lust, etc., are Satpurushas. Those people who have attained equal vision, balanced mind, unflinching devotion to the Lord, are Satpurushas. Those people who are endowed with peace, bliss, contentment, simplicity, fearlessness, humility, powerful voice, a face beaming with the glow of saintliness, etc., are Satpurushas. "There is no difference between God and a realized Bhagavata. Both are identical. A sage is God Himself. The Upanishad declares: “He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman.” The glow of a sage is infinite and eternal as that of Brahman. - Swami Sivananda << More>>

"Chidananda Darshan" - through Life incidence of Guru MaharajBirth Centenary Celebration of Guru Bhagawan Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj at Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. "Be a part of Celebrations and Be benefited " "Sthita Prajna" Swami Chinmayananda, the illustrious saint-scholar, was giving a series of discourses on Gita during his Gita Jnana Yajna at Lucknow in 1977. In course of his talk he dealt with the characteristics of a Sthita Prajna, the ideal Godman of the holy scripture. At the end of the talk Prof. Varma who was, indeed, very much impressed, sought an interview with Chinmayanandaji and put the straight question - Is the ideal Godman of Gita a mere scriptural representation or a living reality? Is there anybody in India today who may fittingly be called a Sthita Prajna? The erudite monk who is not given to easy praise paused for a moment and then replied with all seriousness and solemnity - Yes. There are such great ones. One is Mother Anandamayi and the other is Swami Chidananda. One should behold them and get sanctified "Humility Incarnate" Akhandanandaji pays homage to Swamiji as the very incarnation of humility. Once while addressing an audience in Haridwar he said, 'Swami Chidananda is the very embodiment of humility. If any body wishes to behold humility incarnate and learn to be humble, he should approach Chidanandaji. In this age it is rare to find a saint with such remarkable humility." Swami Sharananandaji had similar views about Swamiji. Humility is, indeed, the hallmark of Swamiji's personality, a quality that singles him out in the world of saints as the very incarnation of "Amanitva."

The Prana is the source of all capabilities and the power in the universe. Prana is the only power behind the normal functioning of the system of respiration (inhalation and exhalation), blood circulation, digestion, excretion of urine and stool, system producing semen, structure of our bones and also the nervous system. The working abilities of sensory organs and motor organs improve as each cell gets extra nutrition. Gitamrutam The man attains peace, who, abandoning all desires, moves about without longing, without the sense of mine and without egoism. ( 2:71) This is the Brahmic seat (eternal state), O son of Pritha! Attaining to this, none is deluded. Being established therein, even at the end of life one attains to oneness with Brahman.( 2:72) He who is ever happy within, who rejoices within, who is illumined within, such a Yogi attains absolute freedom or Moksha, himself becoming Brahman.( 5:24) The sages obtain absolute freedom or Moksha—they whose sins have been destroyed, whose dualities (perception of dualities or experience of the pairs of opposites) are torn asunder, who are self-controlled, and intent on the welfare of all beings. (5:25) Happy Birthday Pujya Swamiji (May 3, 2015)
