It It is a matter of joy indeed to inform all lovers of the Lord and seekers of the truth that Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad will be celebrating its founder H. H. Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj’s Birth Centenary from September 24, 2015 to September 24, 2016 with various projects and programs for general benefits and spiritual uplifting under the guidance of Revered Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji Maharaj, President of the ashram.
Construction of Sri Swami Chidananda Centenary
Memorial Yoga Bhawan.
This holy building will have first and second floor devoted for yoga as well
for general Satsang and discourses. The building will be equipped with car
parking facilities in the underground as well as on the ground floor.
About 60 learned Saints, Sages, Scholars and Mandleshwars from all over India will perform Jnan Yajna everyday for eight hours commencing from October 25, 2015 to 2015 to November 6, 2015 encompassing Prasthan Trayaee Parayan ( Brahma Sutra, Ten Principal Upanishads and Srimad Bhagavad Gita).
Publication of books written by Rev. Gurudev Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj and by Rev. Gurubhagavan Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj will be distributed as Jnan Yajna Prasad.
Organizing State level University students Elocution competition, Essay Competition, Sports Competition and paintings for students from high schools and middle schools of Ahmedabad.
